My V is on the Blink

Having problems, I cannot pull up the 6 block menu, when I press the menu tab button one time from the search screen the 6 block menu is suppose to appear but on my V it goes directly to the expert menu. I thought I would set the detector back to the factory settings but that screen does not appear also. Anyone else having problems?

I think you may have the Expert menu the default. I forgot how to change that, but I'm sure it is in the menu system and the owner manual at the top of the page if you don't have one. I'm getting ready to leave for a while and if no one comes up with the answer, I'll look it up for you.

In the expert menu / configure, selecting the "Expert only" will eliminate the 6-block menu, so when menu is pressed, this brings the display in the expert menu instead of the 6-block menu.
Deselect the Expert only to return the 6-block menu.

To change back to the 6 block Menu the Expert Menu under Expert Menu/Configure/Menu/Expert must not have an x in the box.

With a x in the box the instrument will go right to the Expert Menu instead of the 6 Block Menu System.

Bob, Tab and Larry thanks for the information I checked and an x was in the Expert Only block I removed the x and viola the V is working correctly. I just cant figure how that block got an x in it because I am not advance enough to have put an x in that block. Thanks again
