Trying to pray for all the requests! Not been out lately but some neat finds on here. Was my youngest wedding shower today. Had it at our church and I remember the day when parents watched their own children. Several of us males needed to have been their as kiddie cops. The brats got into several rooms and pulled things off the walls, Sunday School stuff were thrown around, decorations that had been put up for the V.B.S. were pulled off the hallways. My niece and her tribe were asked to leave. This world is nothing like what I grew up with. When you need adults in cops clothing yelling "Freeze Dirt Bag" in church things need to change. The unsaved are going to act like unsaved. Speak to all you know about Christ and his salvation.
May God be praised.

Hey Paul,

I know what you mean about the kids... When I was growing up, I wouldn't have been allowed to run around like that. I would have had to have been within eyeshot of my Mom. There were, shall we say, "consequences" for misbehaving :) I think they call it child abuse now. Nowadays, it's, "if you don't stop that you're going to get a quiet time". My Mom would have just smacked me into a quiet time. Highly effective. She's 90 and I STILL wouldn't think of crossing her.

they can't pass it on to their kids and when the kids have kids they will perpetuate only what they know.

I'm from the era of respect too. I am not unfamiliar with a leather belt on my behind. Child abuse - nope just a belt was much quicker for an attitude adjustment than having to go find a switch. Spare the rod - spoil the child is what the Good Book says and we certainly can see a lot of spoiled people - adults and kids alike.

Pr 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Pr 29:15

coming to...no respect for others nor themselves! I was just reading that the Bloods and the Crips have infiltrated the Poconos where it was so peaceful and now there are several gangs who're increasing and causing many problems plus stabbings and killings! There doesn't seem to be peace anywhere these days...but only Christians can have peace in their hearts knowing that God still reigns on high and rules, with His will being done!

Good to hear from you, Paul!

God Bless!
