My TRX appears to be dead already......;o(

Had it turned on and it seemed to have locked up. I had to unscrew the cap and pull the batteries out to get it to turn off. It will not power on. I tried different AA batteries and a 9 volt. So far its dead. I will leave it sit for a while......The good thing is I know Whites will make it right if it don't come one again........

Got it working again......Don't really know what the problem was. I took the shell off and checked for any problems in there but didn't see anything obvious. Put some AA's back in it and it seems to be working again. I took tomorrow off because we are supposed to have 60 degree weather. I will give it a good workout.

You probably got it in one of its program select/alert modes. There is an expanded bit of user information on the Whites forum, and I saw it here also.

Maybe, but I wasn't pressing any buttons when it happened. I was testing a target and it started making a weird noise and the power button would not work anymore. Once I took batteries out and put them back in it would not power on either. It seems to be working again so hopefully it was just a one time deal.....;o)
