Well as you know we like to detect where ever we can to see if we can find new an exciting items.Well I'm no different. I was able the pass couple of weeks to detect in Oklahoma, Tenn new Mexico an Arizona new Mexico by the Continental divide. Texas also but i only stopped for a few minutes at each stop an detected just to say i did it. found quite a bit of change in Tenn an very little any where Else. but that was OK. as i got to do it. My big thing that i want to share was there is no grass in las Vegas an you can only surface recovery as per all the park signs . never ever thought that there was no grass in Nevada. Ha Ha!!! Any way i never saw so many old abandon homes as i did on this trip wish i had more time. but on the same token most were gated up an chained.
but i would do the trip again in a heart beat. So keep on looking for the mother lode an ill read the park signs to see if i can detect again.
again tried to upload pics not have any luck still 3.39 MB still not sure how to reduce pic to fit .

Download a free program called IrfanView. Open your pics (it will handle a bunch of formats) with it and under file, find save as and save the file as a .jpg. It will be about 1/3 the size of the original pics. It it still is too big, it also has a resize function that you can use.

Photobucket saves all that hassel once you learn it, and is a convenient place to keep all your pics backed up.

HH,
Great recommendation.

My hard drive recently failed. I thought I had lost all of my pictures but luckily for me, I had uploaded most of them to photobucket and was able to recover most of my lost pics. I do regular backups now.
