My totals and highlights for 2012

This was my first full year of detecting, Last year I started in June and did pretty well for a half year. This year was a big improvement over last with some really nice finds and lots of memories. For me the biggest and best memory is/was finding rings with ice. Right next to that was several returns. I met some new people and just plain had a ton of fun along the way. I had several dry spells and even wore out the PT cruiser. I gave up drag racing, cars, sold the truck, trailers, house and just about everything and we moved from Plant City to Clearwater just to be closer to the beach. Next year should be great!

Total in rings:
21 gold (6 with diamonds) 1 w/.80 ct, 1.5 total ct wt valued at 6000K
44 silver
1 plat
41 junk

several silver necklaces, pendants, bracelets, tons of clad (didn't count it all)
4 cell phones
lots of knives
