Lots of dogs getting their shots in Edmonton....I have proof of that. :)

Here's most of the the dog tags. I have a bunch more older ones stashed away somewhere in the house. There's about 65 shown here.

Below are some of the older tags.....

Good stuff, John. Especially those old ones.

So you don't count the dog tags like you do the coins? And approx. where are you at on that second hundred thousand?

Nice collection John ....

The one dog tag I have found had a phone number on it. So I called ... and the lady started crying because it belonged to her favorite dog who had died a few years earlier. Not so sure that I will call those numbers anymore if I find another one.

That's an impressive haul, John! Tell the truth, while you're petting people's dogs, are you clandestinely snipping their dog tags?

I never thought about keeping dog tags. I would probably have a hundred or so. Found a couple from the early 1900's that were neat.

Your a Ruff dude John. It's amazing the collection of stuff a person can have after only just a few years detecting. I have a couple Dog tags that I have kept, but nothing old.

I went through my "junque" over the winter and tossed a dozen or so dog tags. They were nearly all 2008. Guess that was a bad year for dog tags? Most of them looked just like yours, had the little hole worn out where they attached to the collar. I rarely toss anything I find, so it broke my heart to toss them. Now perhaps you have given me incentive to keep them again? Onus
