When I got this detector(1250 GTAx) Christmas of 2003, I didn't think much of it. Thought my wife was putting my out to pasture. I set a goal of finding a barber dime. Never thought I'd put much time into it. Wow, was I wrong. I haven't stopped. What fascinates me the most about this hobby is that I am so fascinated by it. Why didn't she think of this sooner? If I make sure that I have a couple of snickers, and a handful of batteries, that pasture is not a bad place to be. HH Rich
