Nancy and I went camping for three days over the holiday weekend and found an interesting spot to go hunting. We invited a friend who didn't live far from where we were camping, (rcasio) from the MXT forum, to join us and we had a fantastic time. These are my keepers from the hunt, less the cents and junk. I did include the dozen wheats and 48 clad quarters and all was found with the V, except the 57 quarter and two wheats. For the last hour I switched to the SE Pro for a change of pace in detectors. We all found Silver and Nancy will get hers posted later today on the MXT forum, I'm sure, which included a class ring that she is trying to find the owner as I post this.
This was really and odd place out of the norm for the ratio of coins found. There were six silver quarters found and only one dime. I would normally find a ton of nickles with the V, not a single nickel was found by me and probably six at the most by three hunters in three days. The vast majority of the coins found were in the 40's, with a few in the 30's and 50's and a couple of the deeper wheat's older.
