My take one the deteknix wireless headphones

I am spoiled with the deus and the wireless headphones but I use my racer more and more. I just got tired of being wired to my machine. I got these (Deteknix) and the fit is not like my other headphones but they are comfortable. The sound has a bit more bass than my other phones but the sound is really nice. I can hear a tiny delay but nothing to worry about. I may just have to spend more time in the field. I got them on Amazon and they came to my business very quickly. So when I opened the package I forgot I had ordered them because they were due next week. I use velcro on the side of my racer to hold the transmitter and it sits nicely and snugly. I got the 1/4 inch jack and it fits fine in the racer. I would have to say these are worth having and are very comfortable. The big test will be hunting in iron where you have so much to listen to and have to hear those squeaky hidden tones mixed in the iron. I will have no problem with this product and it will be great to be wireless on the racer...I'm charging them with my Iphone portable charger and if that works then these headphones will even be better. They get a six hour charge and I don't hunt that long this time of year...So I'm keeping them..

I think the 60ms delay (.06s) isn't good enough...
I tried the sennheisers with Kleer tech and they weren't good enough for my G2....and their delay is about half the deteknix....

as an fyi the Minelab CTX wireless setup is audibly 'perfect' and their delay is about 10ms....Minelab rocks with their
engineering but NO software updates and way too heavy forced me to sell.....getting old and creaky....

so I'm truly hoping that Makro gets their new version right and if so I'll certainly be buying one,
though I'd prefer a receiver end such that I can use my own headphones (same as Minelab)...hey, it's 2016 for god's sake....

fingers crossed, hori

So far so good but I will take them out in the iron and see how they preform

didn't care for the minelab wireless just another thing I had to find somewhere to put, for an advanced species :lmfao: and for how smart we think we are , we sure have a long ways to go  put a man on the moon and still cant figure out real time wireless audio , who knew :poke:

I will stick to wires until wireless works as good as wires and is as easy to set up as pluggin in my headphones anything less is going backwards.
