My Summer season starts with a bang!

Hey Everyone! It's been a while since I have posted but, hopefully now that summer is here, I will have a lot more reasons to post. This is from Jess's and my first true hunt of the season (we hunted during winter but found squat). We spent maybe 2 hours out on the beach and found the ring with red stone first in the wet sand. I think it might be a ruby or garnet (opinions welcome) with a couple of little diamonds on either side. The second, which was a 14k FG, came as I was making my way back to Jess on the beach and it was also in the wet sand (granted it was an extreme high tide followed by an extreme low,,,so the wet sand was where the game was being played). I'm happy to see gold in the scoop and happier still to have some warm water to get into and hunt. Here's to a successful and safe (crosses fingers) hunting season for everyone here.
 
I was wondering what ever became of U 2 looters! Glad to see some gold outa ya! Stone is too hard to see, looks like the stones you suggested. FG is Frederick Goldman (good stuff). I like it ALL! SO, is Jess still running an ACE 250, 'er did she get an Excal yet? Keep us posted Dig.
