My start of an obsession

Just a quick story about how I got hooked on metal detecting. I was visiting my grandmother who is in a nursing home here in Portland and we were talking about the

we are dreamers and are always dreaming of the next hunt, be it detecting or mushrooms or arrow heads, etc. It is just something that is in us. You have the added enticement in as it is your grandpas hidden hoard.

I did find a mason jar with penny 3/4 hundreds but not old in the 60's. A man on the Fraser river found a barrel with over 4k cents a few years ago. I guess your not to far away from Vancouver. hh oj/bc

Not too far at all ojm_bc but it is still state side, I am really looking forward to Monday. My new MXT Pro shows up with all the goodies and I still have enough vacation to take another crack at this site before the end of the year and Royal I had to share your signature with some of the people at work...that is too great
