My Sovereign park setup with a Ron's 180 meter and Sunray S-8 coil.

Sorry if I posted this in the past.
In case someone was wondering how to set up your Ron's 180 meter and other accessories on your GT.
I know at first that the Sunray probe box looks kinda odd where it is. Well, it actually evens out the balance and I can swivel the box on the handle to give me even more slack with the probe cable. The Ron's 180 meter has zero sight issues where it is mounted, and when I lay the machine down to dig the meter is at a perfect eye level when using the Sunray Probe. The rod I have is one of the Pluggers Rods. It is TOP QUALITY! All I have to do is tilt my wrist and I get very easy access to flick any of the toggle switches or knobs.
This is my park setup. I can easily throw on the 12x10 with it's own lower rod. I use the stock rod assembly with the stock coil for water wading along with the hip mount bag. Oh by the way, have your wife save your plastic bags that loaves of bread come in. They fit perfect on the GT and offer plenty of excess bag to use to tie off the cable before the cable plug.

On a side note. Whenever another hunter See's my machine for the first time I can tell they are thrown off and as curios as a cat.
One guy asked me if it was a Deuce. LOL

*I am ashamed of the total amount of times I had to edit this. LOL my bad.

Nice set up if your comfortable with it , it looks well balanced , i tried that setup and did not like it each time i had to slide my arm out of the cuff to adjust the control box once i hip mounted it was much better seeing the built in meter and a overall lighter set-up to swing Jim

Nice set up. I do the same thing....keep the stock 10" coil on the stock shaft so it's ready to go water hunting by just throwing the control box in the Minelab bag and off we go. I did replace the stock hand grip on the stock shaft with a bike end bar and rubber grip, though. MUCH more comfortable than the stock grip. Never liked it, and no foam to hold water like on the stock grip.

Now that is one of the best hip mount set up I have ever seen diger:thumbup:

I made this mount for Rons meter. Its pretty easy to see and easy to take off and put back. took about 10 min. Copper pipe and rubber bugging tape

Hey Cuzz, nice setup. Is that a 15x12 or a 12x10. I take it you are using the stock shaft as your water rig like I do? Anyway, how about a mini field report on how you like the SEF. Always love to hear others talk about how they like any aftermarket coils compared to the stock ones.

That's the 15x12 but I have the 12x 10 also. I'm not in love with the 15x12 yet. Haven't used it on land but I still prefer the 10 in salt over both. 10x12 is becoming my favorite on land. As you know it's like a laser with how it seperates and locks onto targets.
