Hey Ron I just had a look. Both meters read out the same, that centechs doing a good job! paint it black and it will look alot like the sunray:thumbup:

good ole coinsearch too:minelab:

Ron,
This is a cool meter .....I looked at your video ......As Neil said , numbers exactly the same ........Any issues or problems with the Centech that we should be aware of ? .....Thanks , Jim

The Cen-Tech needs a lot of work if done right. The Cen-Tech looks good at this point, but time in the field and in different weather conditions are needed. The plus side the Cen Tech is lighter.Another plus the connectors will cost more than the meter so if the meter dies, use the same hardware and change the meter at a very low cost. The Minelab meter is built like a tank but still has weather issues I've cleaned sand grit out of two to get working again.Maybe a little bedliner spray and weather proofing may help prevent the Cen-Tech from suffering these problems. My favorite meters the Avenger and Black Hawk would blank out in too much sunlight and you would have to hunt in the shade to recover your visual ID numbers.I'll keep you posted during this season. Thanks Ron
