My Sov setup

Doug[Manila]

New member
Here is my Sov on C-Scope (CS7umd) detector shaft assembly.

The armcuff is stainless. The handle & shafts are attached with heavy duty bolts. The handle can be slid up or down to where it is comfortable. This is the setup I use on the beach and during landhunts, the meter is velcro-attached to the top of the handle.

Looks good and a XLT, DFX type armrest will work as well...Might consider some type of stand or even those stick on rubbers on bottom of box to protect it..I Find the farther back the box is the better balance and easier to get at controls..Looks like yours could be moved back further..Just my opinion and whatever works....looks good to me...

hey doug, what type of meter is that and also what type of coil is that also? you got a nice looking machine. i always like the custom set ups guys do to their rigs.
stan pa.

I do have the rubber stick-on bottoms but will try your idea of a stand...maybe a clip-on type similar to another pic I saw on this forum. Thanks.

Thanks.

If you are refering to the smaller picture, that is the original setup of a C-Scope CS7umd PI (underwater metal detector). I use a standard Sov meter (mod to 180 scale) for the XS2APro and the coil is a BBS1000 or ten inch coil.
