My silver slump is FINALLY over....BARELY

I have gone 13 hunts with no silver and that is pretty odd for me, On sunday I was called into work and when I got off I had time for a couple hours, so Jim and I went out and hit a couple places, first place gave up more wheats and clad. And the second place was an old farm I got a sweet 12-47 and I was thinking please God let this be silver....but it was the brass makeup tin.

My time was up and I was walking to the truck and right beside the driveway I got another sweet 12-47, but it was only showing 4". My hopes for silver on this one wasn't high, figured it would be a clad quarter as the other wheats here were 6+ inches. I got down to cut the plug and when I saw the shiny rim I about did backflips.

You see the date? 1964.....so I just BARELY broke my silver slump! Hope I don't have to go 14 hunts till my next silver!

Congrats G4E,
