My ship has lost it's rudder.

I am floating aimlessly through life. Just kidding of course, Jesus Christ is my rudder and my ship is on course, but life still likes to throw us a curve sometimes.

I am leaving my job at the furniture store. Working every Sat. and Sunday and till 9:00pm a couple of nights through the week is taking it's toll on our family life. Not to mention my detecting time!:) For the hours I put in the pay just isn't enough to justify being away from home that much. I have been on the fence about leaving for a couple of months now but have stayed hoping things would improve. My manager offered to give me two Sundays off a month if I would stay, but I think it is too little too late. As far as working conditions go it couldn't be better, it is a great place to work, quality products and super people. I've made several new friends there and that makes it harder to leave, but I have to put my family first.

I still have my carpet cleaning business with several people waiting for me to break loose so I can clean their carpet, so I won't be without some income. I may try to rebuild my business while searching for a new job. I know God will provide,He always has, and open a door where He wants me. Who knows, maybe I can build my business enough to possibly make the next forum hunt.

Anyway, thanks for listening! Hopefully I can actually posts some finds soon!

God bless,

Doug

they really like you at that furniture store! I'm sure if they could, they would pay you more and give you weekends off, but maybe God wants you to move on to some place else where you can be a witness for Him there, also! I'll be praying for you and God will open a door for you to have something suitable and to meet all your needs, so keep the faith and don't give up! God is still on His throne and all is right with His Children who're in the world but not of it!

God Bless!
Betty
