I am floating aimlessly through life. Just kidding of course, Jesus Christ is my rudder and my ship is on course, but life still likes to throw us a curve sometimes.
I am leaving my job at the furniture store. Working every Sat. and Sunday and till 9:00pm a couple of nights through the week is taking it's toll on our family life. Not to mention my detecting time! For the hours I put in the pay just isn't enough to justify being away from home that much. I have been on the fence about leaving for a couple of months now but have stayed hoping things would improve. My manager offered to give me two Sundays off a month if I would stay, but I think it is too little too late. As far as working conditions go it couldn't be better, it is a great place to work, quality products and super people. I've made several new friends there and that makes it harder to leave, but I have to put my family first.
I still have my carpet cleaning business with several people waiting for me to break loose so I can clean their carpet, so I won't be without some income. I may try to rebuild my business while searching for a new job. I know God will provide,He always has, and open a door where He wants me. Who knows, maybe I can build my business enough to possibly make the next forum hunt.
Anyway, thanks for listening! Hopefully I can actually posts some finds soon!
God bless,
Doug
