My Ship Came In Again With Gold and Diamonds

I worked the beach last night from 8pm-11:30pm and didn't hit much of anything. Today was different.

Went down from 9am-11:30am low tide and hit one of those penny honey holes. In an area not much bigger than 4 ft x 4 ft, I dug up 61 pennies. Wore my arm out. After the pennies, I dug up the small gold ship. Also hit 3 quarters, some nickels, a dime and a 5c Euro coin and some more junk steel earrings.

The necklace was around the pier. Marked 10k. My ship came in with the ring. The ring is 14kt yellow gold with 3 small diamond chips. The center stone is very pale blue. I also dug up this small picture frame, out in the water. Don't have a clue how it got there. I got to thinking that maybe someone tossed it in the water as a rememberence to someone. If so, I will toss it back in.

Happy Hunting!

last summer a kid came down with a jar or pennies...............big dave dug hundreds

I THE DAMP STUFF not up there in lighter ville where u hang out

500 hundred bucks and bought one of those new ace garrettes 250 or something like that

b u t like i told mike the professor, that just leaves more in the surf for us. i just hate to see her waste good money to find lighters.

You know, there ARE good finds made in the dry sand. Just not AS MANY, I agree. But if hunting in the dry sand makes her happy, then let her hunt there. With the depth that the Quattro gets at the beach, I would say that she has a better chance of finding someting in the dry that everybody else has missed...certainly better than with an Ace 250 or any other machine. And when Ina decides to come get down in the wet, the wet will still be there.

Nice finds man...love the chain. Forget my other post, it was intended for Max down below. Not sure HOW that happened. Must have been daydreaming. Probably daydreaming of being able to hunt on weekday mornings rather than be at work on a Monday morning after a big lightning storm and chasing down server and network problems. :(

I have been working a Windows xp problem here at home and finally have it whipped too. I have had to run Spybot, AdAware plus norton and clean this machine after my 11 year old clicked on a web site and smoked me. It's locked down now so he can't.
