My set up for XS

I moved the V clip to underneath the armrest and bent down the bracket for the meter a bit so that it wasn't sticking straight up. This setup is Much lighter than the box in center of pole, I was impressed with the ergonomics!

Nice setup! Wish you the best in the field. With this machine I know you will find great stuff!

Looks good! I think many had done this to their Sovereigns back when they were popular and even added a extension shaft of Pluggers to bring back the control box to even balance better yet. Myself I mounted the V clip backwards under the arm cuff so that the control were easier to get too when needed to use the pinpoint and do any adjustments. Mine I used the Sun Ray DTI meters so they were at the best angle to see them, but what you did with Ron's meter looks great.
One thing I will say is the Sovereigns we did a lot of different mods to them, but myself always left the control box stock, tried some that had mods done to the control box and felt I didn't have the performance of a stock one.

Hope you are doing well with your Sovereign, Good Luck

Rick
