My set of very early leg irons 1860s/1880s ?

This is a set of Tower double lock round link leg irons. I can't find a date for them. I have been told 1860s and the 1880's .I have NOT cleaned them. The set on the right is a pair I found on the internet. Any one have a clue. I do NOT have the key. Wish I did. Me and My wife would play pretend ! She could be a bad girl ! Ha ! Ha ! She would kill me if she would read that !

They look practical identical to the one's you found on the net. I would date them with that one, or close to it.

As for the wifey goes, keep wishing. You know after marriage that kind of action is far from in-between, he, he, he, he, if any.
