i was messing around with my Excalibur 2 this weekend at the beach, i was trying to hunt in all metal mode, except for the necklace all was found in wet sand...all in am mode disc 1 and sens at 7 very faint signals, seemed to be deeper than in disc mode, the earring gave tone very faintly in am and nothing in disc when i went to check,as did some of the pennies. but I'm learning about hunting in this mode, I'm also wondering how much stuff i missed hunting last year in disc mode, most of the time..deeper signals in am mode..still learning this machine...i do like it tho..:detecting::minelab::clapping:

Your beach condition's appear to be good as finding the Quarters and nickels (heavy targets) are a good indication...................It's when you find nothing but Deep Pull Tabs (Light Targets) and no clad is when you need to find a new Beach to Hunt. I would keep Hunting that Beach.
