Heres my review of the Equinox 800..

Calabash! Thanks!

Now, myself, and undoubtedly, many others would like a comparison on the V3i! lol

As you said, the 800 is undoubtedly the best for the price!

What are the manufacturers going to have to do to compete with the 800?

In my opinion the Equinox 800 has set the standard for this type of quality in technology for the price! The top of the line will be around $900.00. And, why?

Competition!

thanx for taking the time to put that together. Always more fun to listen to a product review narration, than to read printed text.

A "different strokes" thing I suppose.
I would much rather spend 5 minutes reading than 20 minutes watching to get the same thing , regardless of whether it's a waste of time or not , the time investment is less.
Probably less time involved in summarizing and typing than in editing as well

You're right. There's been times where I want to "fast forward" to what I'm wanting to gain. In text print, you're right: You just flip the pages and go to what you want to hone in on.

I tend to start a video like this, and then open a new browser to check my other email or forum-posts, while the audio plays in the background. Like "audio books" kind of thing, where you can go about your other tasks/chores at the same time , haha

There's something about audio which also alerts you to subtle nuances of the knowledge of the person making a speel. Eg.: passion or tonal fluctations, which shows whether he's "been there done that", versus someone who's just spewing book knowledge. But yes: it's a different strokes thing.

great job! I was cruising YouTube looking for info on the Nox and I came across your video. I watched it several times and I will probably watch again. Your video along with several others have convinced me that I will be getting an Euqinox. I’m an Etrac guy and I can’t imagine ever giving it up but the Nox looks like it would be super interesting in a couple of my trashy hunting areas. I hope Minelab Ramps up production so I can get mine soon!! Your video was very well done, keep it up!

I really appreciate the video as well I've narrowed my search down to the Equinox 600 the F75 with DST and the makro multi kruzer. I just found out Minelab offers a discount to veterans so that makes it even sweeter.
