.........................that there is an old picnic ground and ball field from the mid 40's to early 50's ......................grown over at an old military base. Nobody is there, nobody cares; and after an early look at it...............comparing to maps....I think that my Cortes and I have a good chance at finding some stuff here. Grass is pretty overgrown so my digging tool of choice will be a "folding" army shovel. Sunday is the day for expedition #1. Wish me luck and as usual I will post the results ...good or bad.
