I haven't been out as much as I'd like, but seems most times I'm finding old coppers. I love finding the old coppers - just wish they could be in better condition.
Last week I found a pretty nice 1797 draped. Last month I found one that was "toast". "04" was the only thing I could make out. Others I've found this year:
!844 Bank of Montreal token
LC flattened out (classic type)
CT copper
Geo II (weak features no date)
few misc LC

Yesterday I found a copper slightly smaller and thinner than a LC or CT copper. Peroxide bath showed a very weak bust, but I have yet to identify.
Also found a classic LC at the Yankee Territory Coinshooters club hunt last month (no date).
WHERE'S THE SILVER??!!!
