I put in a new battery and tried it on every level of the adjuster knob thing, the light works fine but it will not beep, I tried it on a pop can.

Sorry, I forget there is more than 1 kind, mine is the kind below, I think their might be a loose wire or something cause I have to adjust the battery and push the button and shake it a little to get it to work for a little bit.

The button switch's go out on the whites bulleyes. Send it in and they will fix it for you or give you a new one.
I just went to radio shack and bought a new heavy duty switch. Soldered it in, and no problems yet. Been a year now.

If you check out the WHITES forum you will find my posting headed "whites return of a Bullseye 2."
the switch glitch is the cause of your problems. Rest assured that one week from mailing your unit back to Whites there will be a brand new unit waiting in your mail box for you.
Before I sent mine in I tried a brand new "high-priced battery." I was dumb and mailed the pointer back to the factory with the high-priced battery still in the unit. When my new one arrived it came with a battery of more of a Dollar store quality.
Pull your battery and save it before sending your pinpointer back to the factory.

Whites will fix the button problem free, There is a NEW Bullseye If I'm not mistaken.
They have changed the switch on the new one.
