My piddling day minus the pennies...

Uncle Willy

New member
Jumped out between rains and hit a couple of playgrounds and it was a strange day. I hunted all over the first school play area and found one stinking quarter and three pennies. Then I walked over to the other playground at this school and found $1.40 in a pile under one swing and nothing else in that playground.

On the way home I stopped at a small playground that faced the street and as I walked across the grass to the playground I got a signal that said "quarter" and when I set mt tector down to dig it my tector started beeping. I had set the coil down on another quarter. After I got in the playground I only found two dimes. But it wasn't a bad couple of hours.

If you have any doubts as to the sensitivity of the 250 12 incher look at the tiny wire bracelet it banged away on.

Why would Mr Revis have to send in his Ace250? What did I miss? Why did you have to send yours out?

Mine was from the first batch off the line, and I needed to get my pinpointing fixed. I think Bill mentioned that his was a field test model that needed an up date or something??

When i suspect an area has been recently hunted (because of obvious dig spots,or extreme lack of targets) go to the perimiter and areas in a direct line with school door or parking lot. I've had excellant results using this strategy.
