This is a picture of the moon i took with a camera made just for telescopes. It cost 100 bucks for camera, and i cant use it for anything else.

Hey Rob,

I have a black 4" or 4.5" (can't remember exact size) Orion Newtonian with a camera adapter as well, haven't used it on a couple years and have been looking to sell it.....If you want it or know someone that wants one let me know, it has an equatorial mount and two lenses, can't remember the power of the the lenses I got.

I can let it go for cheap, shoot me an e-mail if you're interested,

Haven't been out detecting in a while, but will be back very soon, just need to get my scoop fixed.
Happy hunting,

I just got a telescope too. Its a used 8" celestron SCT.
If you don't already have "Starry Nights", you should!
Its free off download.com. Great for finding you way
in the sky.

Keep us posted on the observatory progress. I got a small 4 inch reflector 2 years ago for christmas and have been hooked since then. (Winter time hobby) Problem is bright lights where we are now, we're looking to move out of the city next spring. I'm interested in getting a 10 or 12 inch reflector or dobsonian(I think) if we move away from the lights. Good luck,

tjb

Yea, ive looked through a 18 inch dobsonian. The view is amazing compared to my 8 inch. Even a 10 inch makes my 8 inch look small. I also belong to the local Astronomy Club. The BBAA (Back Bay Amateur Astronomers) Heres a link to their site. HH BBAA Homepage
