My opinion on the F75 . Just opinion. Everyone may not feel the same. We all have our favorites don't we?

And this only applies to me.

The F75 is a fast response High end detector. It is a stand alone model..It's not a "Bounty Hunter"....It's not an old recycled Fisher.
It is a new age, high tech, well designed, deep seeking New Fisher/First Texas Metal Detector.
It's well made
It's lightening fast on response
It goes deep 10 -12 inches on dime size targets 14" on quarters
It's Extremely Comfortable to use - Light weight, and near perfect weight distribution Great ergonomics
It has just enough hunting modes
It's much ,much, better than the average detector, for the average detectorist. It allows you successful hunting experiences
It's easy to learn
It has fast grab manual ground balance fast an accurate GB
It has Standard 11" DD coil- Great for trash, ground coverage, and it pinpoints well not like a DD coil at all.
It's capable of coin hunting, relic hunting, Gold prospecting, and Beach Hunting, and shallow water detecting ( So it's not a water proof under water detector)
It id's Accurately on coins using numeric target identification
It has little elliptical 6" coil thats deadly in all trash and weighs nothing and has superior depth for a tiny coil.... 7" on dimes and more on larger coins
It has a full manual Ground balance capability
It has a big screen with number read outs
It has an feo meter for ground reading that you can just pump the coil up and down and know the ground reading instantly
It has screen guides to advise you if not GB'd properly, or can not GB where your trying and other message readings so you know if something isn't right.
It has long battery life and only uses 4 batteries AA style
It has a target confidence meter..That works
Two ways for depth reading one on screen, one in pinpoint mode and the other in running mode always visible
It has Notch in and Notch out
It has Full discrimination
It has two all metal modes static and standard motion all metal
Did I mention how light and comfortable it is with depth..Not like that other brand thats heavy heavy with depth( Oh I did )
Only two means of adjustment one knob and one push button and it shows you all adjustments on the screen as you do them and one trigger switch.
It can not be reset accidentally
It's a bonafided computer electronic piece of equipment
It has separate on the arm rest area on off volume control
It has frequency shifting 1 thru 7 frequency capabilities

And it's a turn on a go machine right out of the box.....with better than average results...................It's a truly awesome detector designed by the industries top engineers.....................So like I said it ain't a Bounty Hunter, and it ain't an average Fisher. Use one and you will be amazed...

And just for the record I am not associated with First Texas in any way..other than owning one of these fine machines. That is Gospel.... I have used many different types and brand names..Still do..but this in my opinion can not be beat by anything on the market for the everday average detectorist

I agree with your opinion!

I'm not a detector snob and I just want what works and the F75 meets my needs. It's very simple and not complicated in the least. It tells me what is in the ground and often times deeper than I want to dig!

I don't think it could be said any better. RickyD

Today it was 90 degrees. The ground is getting dried out and hard..I hit a 12 inch target reading 77...Just knew it was a Silver dime.
Dug that baby out (Lots of work) in the heat..Bingo 1960 Rosie........Must have been brought in with the hard pack clay fill.......Whew I went home before I had to dig more.:help: This was a baseball field so you can imagine how hard packed it was..

Its programmable but so easy to set up its like an analog with knobs.
But the best VLF out there is the TREASURE BARON COINTRAX-2 CHIP, but has a STEEP
learning curve. Its capable of reaching P.I. depths on the low end, and doing it with
TID. Its the last detector George Payne designed and built by Discovery Electronics,
who ABSOLUTELY refused to advertise it. The newest version is the Millennium Baron,
and is not modular like the original.
But with the tones, i.d.scale, fast recovery, TID in Stat on my F-75, and SUPER LIGHT
WEIGHT it leaves the house as my primary hunter. Now if Fisher would just get the HOT
10" CONCENTRIC FOR IT, IT WOULD BE PERFECT.
Did I forget works great in high trash and is super deep?:fisher::thumbup:

My opinion was based on my experience, and, only, my likes, and dislikes in a detector.
I agree there may be many models, and makes out there who people favor and feel is the best choice for them..
But if they are looking for a better than average detector, that has just about every - available feature, want great results ,out of the box, then they will be very happy with the F75.

Then add in the tweaking abilities that really bring this detector to life..it's a win, win situation.

The F75 has done something no other detector has done for a long time. It put the fun ( Due to comfort) and success, back into detecting for me.
Most detectorists I feel use their detector occasionally, want to find good items, and they want to enjoy the experience..The F75 supplies that ability very nicely. It's a very good detector. It has the ability of reopening sights that just were not producing finds any more. Most of us do not have unlimited hunting areas.Just by where we live your bound to certain types of detecting. Your bound to certain areas open to the hobby..The F75 can be used in the areas hunted by you and others for years and find the items missed, or, not detected by many other detectors. Thats all I am saying...not that you can't live without one..You can, and still have fun detecting..But for improvement the F75 can supply it.

design that BTY Hunter bought & owns when Tek. died.
And that is the Gospel, with all current "new" Fisher units & BTY.
George is still so far ahead of the curve, its a "red shift".
