I used my new tumbler which I purchased from Harbor Freight. I have never used one before. I used John-Edmonton's recipe, though I need to work on the formula. The machine cost $34 on sale. The single tumbler cost $24 on sale. I bought the double so I can do pennies and other coins at the same time. Other tumblers I saw at the hobby shop were running about $70-$80, but may be better machines - I don't know. The barrels hold 3.5 cups apiece. The barrel size is 4 3/4 inches high by 4 1/2 od. Motor is 110 volts at 60 hertz. I ran the machine for two hours. It was quiet. It didn't even get warm. It was easy to use. I think it is a great buy for the price. There were no leaks. It cleaned the coins enough that I can take them to any store or bank and use them. I am really happy with the machine. Like I said, I need to work on the formula. The employee at the store told me that if you go to the Harbor Freight Tools website, if you find the item cheaper online, print the ad from the website and take it to the store and they will give you the online price. An extended warrenty is an additional $5. Their website is http://www.harborfreight.com. Overall, for being the first tumbler I have ever used, I would give it a 10 out of 10. If you are looking for a reasonable priced tumbler that will clean up your coins, I suggest the Harbor Freight Dual Drum Rotary Tumbler. Pictures below show quarters/dimes/nickles on the left, pennies are on the right. [attachment 8828 DSCN4950.JPG][attachment 8829 DSCN4954.JPG][attachment 8830 DSCN4961.JPG]
