My only recent detecting trip....

I took my son to a college visitation this past weekend(its too early for this:cry:). The school is located on the south side of a very large old park. The park has fantastic views over Portland. I took my detector, because of stories that Monte (metal detecting guru Monte)told of old coins he found there. I didnt find any old coins but had a nice time walking/detecting/reminiscing of college days. Here are a couple of shots from my day, and a couple of goofy photos of me from my last birthday for those of you who have never seen my likeness before.

I have a foster sister that lives somewhere in the Portland area. Beautiful country! Thanx for the pics. I know what you mean about it being too soon for college, they grow up way too fast. My youngest is now 27.

God Bless!

Is this your first one going to colledge??? Glad you got out with the detector too! :)

Its still a year away, but he wanted to see what this school was like. It is where I went to college, and it is affiliated with our church.
