My "Ole" XS.

Got my XS back today from Minelab.:clapping: She looks and sounds like brand new and the month long wait to get her back was worth it. Now that she's all fixed up she'll probably outlast me. My hat goes off to Trina Bonney at Minelab and although a month for repairs seemed kind of long for repairs I can understand as they are pretty busy down there in Vegas. Trina kept me up to date and did her best to get my XS done as soon as possible and it's nice to have her back home again. Can't wait to get her out in the field and do some serious detecting. Look out Jim!!!!!! I may be coming your way. HH.

That's great, Eddie! I guess the wait was well worth it!

I'm hoping that once ML gets its act together and established at their new locations, that detector repair times will go way down....like maybe a couple of weeks tops.

Are they (Minelab) still doing service work in Vegas?---I thought they would be doing it in Chicago by this time (with this transition).

Not aware of any transition and the people at Minelab in Vegas never mentioned sending any repair work to Chicago to me. Next time I chat with them I will ask about this. Thanks for the info.

Eddie

Yes, the wait was worth it knowing now that my baby is like new again. Next time I chat with Trina I'll ask her if they are indeed moving all their repair work to Chicago. Kind of sucks moving further away from my state, but maybe their repair work trun around time will be less and I agree with you that two weeks seems more reasonable. Guess we'll find out soon enough. HH.

I understand that there will still be the Vegas Minelab and they are adding the Chicago one to handle the eastern part while the Vegas one will be handleing the western part and all repairs will be done in Vegas.. They are hiring new staff for the Chicago Minelab.
If this is the case it will be a big step for better customer relations which we all want.

Now you just have to get out and break her in right. Good Luck and HH!

Just read this on another forum. It was written by a Senior Minelab Officer.
