my oldest silver coin so far,uk ace250

hi guys sorry about the bad pictures but i thought id show you my oldest silver hammered coin which i found 3 days ago,its a king henry the 3rd long cross penny and dates from 1240 to 1270 over 740 years old!! found on a ploughed field amongst many other hammered coins :) as you have probably guessed im from england and am very lucky to be able to search for extremely old coins in excellent condition(if they are silver or gold lol)today i found a roman bronze coin in poor condition but the detail is clear enough to see a head and the reverse of the coin showing 2 primitive soldiers in battle :) so again sorry for the bad pic but enjoy anyway

you may be able to see the kings head on the left pic,its looking straight at you,the revers is a long cross with a series of dots and wording around the rim

thanks guys,i did let out a whoop lol im very lucky to have found such a productive field that hasnt been touched by anyone except with a plough :) and there are many historical stories that go with my area
