Been using a X705 for the past 5 years. Have 2 extra coils with it, the low CC and Stock mid CC and High 6in DD coils. I like the machine, Found some nice stuff I think I missed with the X30. But, I have been using the X30 the past few weeks at a place I have detected frequently with the X705. Low and behold, I have been popping out quite a few V nickels and Indian Heads (native American heads for my PC pals..LOL). The machine is truly a Copper and Nickel sucker! Its also way easier to use in my humble opinion. Its just weird not hearing the threshold sound in the back round when using the X30, Quiet! LOL. Anyways, gonna keep using it for the next few weeks and see what else I find. Happy Hunting!

My X30 is 10 years old and still works great. It's coin killer for sure,...... also not to shabby on the gold jewelry.
 
You are so right Bob! Found my only two gold bands with my X30. Love that machine!! I've had mine for 8 years. Actually, that was my first machine! Happy Hunting!
