My Old Friend Bob.

Well folks Monday evening at 723PM my old friend of 35 years left this world. He will be missed by many. Thank you all for your prayers. I talked with him Saturday and he sounded good. Then Sunday he didn't sound so good but, his sister in law said that the nurse had given him some extra pain medicine just before I called. Sure was a quick departure. I thought he would be OK til I got back to ILL.
I made it to Mike's house in Eureka yesterday Just after I got the news about Bob's passing so the timing was right. Seeing Mike's smiling face cheered me up as I hadn't seen him for a few years. We went out detecting today and had a little fun. I got 49 Coins ( couldn't make 50) for a total of 4.01. As I was detecting about 2hrs into the afternoon I looked over at my van and thought, IT sure would be nice to see Ole Bob sitting over there in the van. About 5 minutes later I got a signal to dig which turned out to be an old sprinkler head and the cap came off of it as I probed. The name on the cap was Hunter. I met Bob on the CB radio in 1971 and his handle was Hunter because his detector was a Garrett Master Hunter. A little strange.
God Bless you all and thanks again.

That sure is strange to dig that sprinkler head.
Well, remember all the good times and know that he's pain free as we speak, Steve in so az

Remember the good times! I remember when you brought Jerry and Bob to Michigan and we all went water hunting. I think we all got a ring that day? We also got chased off by a thunder storm! :) May you find comfort in my prayers my friend. I am also praying for Bob's family and friends!

but his memory will live on. God Bless!

I'm sorry for your loss Mike... he's in a better place for sure.

I just went to a wake of a friend, fellow Christian musician, who passed away last Saturday. He was only 47 years old. Very sad.
