My nickel count is going way up.

I think I'm really getting the"hang" of this 3D.My nickel count has gone way up.I've found lots of hi tone nickels and lots of nickel foil bounces that are nickels. In my ground I can't run the sensitivity over 4 or it falses all over the place.I still seem to get good depth though.I dug a wheatie this afternoon the was slightly deeper than the lenght of my Lesche digger,9".

Nothing wrong with your unit as sensitivity parameters have been changed from older CZ's where you could raise the sens. to 5 to 8..
#4 sens. is fine and have done tests will go just as deep as olders CZ's set at 5 to 8..Never found an area where I could go any higher your neck of the woods may differ.
Your nickle count sure will go up if you understand the advanced mode is predicated for older nickles such as Buffalo, Shield and V., while the regular mode is set for newer Jefferson nickles..
I also will state the CZ70 also has its sens. parameters changed simiiar ro a CZ3D...

I would agree with the sensitivity issue. I only rarely can get my cz70 higher than 4 and the 3D higher than 5 (with very careful GB). However, I dig plenty of deep holes and always snag plenty of nickels.
