I pulled up from under the pile of boxes and blankets my trusty M6 to explore more of the yard of my new home today.
I haven't had much time to hunt due to the fact that I have to paint the bare wood left exposed by the contractor who the
seller hired to fix the dry rot on the patio. Between work and the rain I'm not getting much done.
anyway I felt like swinging the coil instead of the brush and explored the back yard again. The other day I tried my Ace 250
back there and found some clad buy today I found a 54' Rosie. Oh and a couple of wheat's for what it's worth. Last week I found the
58' quarter in the front yard.
Oh! And speaking of work, this week I found in the tills (I work at a grocery store ) 2 64' quarters and the other week I found a
58' Franklin half dollar.
Now on a different note, speaking about that Franklin, the really weird thing about that was that I was actually thinking about how cool it would be to find in the drawer another walking liberty half like the one I found with the M6 at a park a few months back. And while thinking that, I was picturing in my mind the walking liberty at the very same moment I opened up the Quick-Checks drawer And there in the far left change compartment of the tills drawer was the Franklin.......... Needless to say I was in awe. Now something like this happened before to me a couple of years ago while detecting a park......I got a signal and was rather disappointed I hadn't found anything worthwhile in a long time and I said to myself while digging it up "If this isn't a gold ring there is no god." Well it was a gold ring. Now God knows I wasn't serious about what I said and had not been a ring there I would have just continued on, ever so faithful, as I always have been.......but I was picturing in my mind "a gold ring" while I was digging it up. Not like the one I found buy none the less, a gold ring.
Have any of you guys experienced something like this?
