Well my machine came in today and I have a great day ahead, I am going to read my manual, then read my manual, then maybe read my manual again.Can't wait to learn enough to use it correctly.Yahoo.....Boris

B, don't forget the faqfaq column. it helped me immensely. let us know what you are finding. Went saturday back to the fort site and I found what appears to be a striker for a flint lock rifle. along with 3 or 4 musket balls. GH :detecting:
 
Don't forget to watch the DVD a couple of times.
 
Its a great machine have fun with it.
 
It's a fantastic machine!!! had mine at the park found two wheaties, and 1957silver quarter. total of about 40mins. or so before kids took over the park. I thought that the silver was the best of the day, but the 1909 wheatie has vbd stamped at the bottom of the wheat stocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I would say, yeah that VBD is your best find! how good of shape is it in? Congrats! Grant
 
discolered, but in pretty good shape.not worn bad , date readable .I will try to get pics of it in the next couple of days

I have read it more than once and yep I have the manual mastered, thanks for the advice.
