GRAY GHOST

...and by all accounts, it's a beast! it'll take some time to get used to, it looks to be like my cibola on steroids. i can thank our famous resident tabdog and a couple of others for starting my interest in the tesoro product line. life has been good! if it's anything like or anything more than my cibola, i'm in for some digging for sure! thanks, and hh!

Well congrats on the Tejon Gray! I am sure you will enjoy it! I have heard and read some of the same reports. I bet you will be digging some great stuff soon, Beale.

Looks like you'll be doing tot lots like Tabdog. And finding lots of gold and silver like he does.:) I hear they are fine machines. Good luck and keep us posted on your finds. Interesting to see how it stacks up to your other one.

I can't wait to see your Civil war relic finds..I justknow they will be awsome

hi everybody! thanks for all the ideas and such, but....i don't do tot lots! i'm too much of a coinshooter and relichunter. there are a few tot lots around here. there's a cadre of older guys who pretty well keep them cleaned out. it's been estimated that over half of the actual civil war battles were fought in my immediate [within one hour] area, so i'm almost a relichunter by default. the cibola did me very good, and from what i've seen, the tejon is like my cibola on steroids! i've not had much time to hunt lately, but have a lot of pics to post. i'm in school on the weekends now, and working a heavy schedule temporarily. i'll keep on gettin' up, though, one way or another. this 2" of snow isn't helping anything either! thanks, and hh!

No offense meant Sir..just pure "Bad" humor.. Sorry:lol:

hahaha, i know, el. some people on here don't know me that well, so i figured for the sake of discussion i could tell ya'll northerners that we just got some snow too! about 4" so far, and everything is paralyzed! i've been out doing donuts in parking lots all morning! they even called work off for the day! i can drive in the snow, babe! my kids just love it! two have never seen snow before, being 4 and 5 years old. i just don't know what to do with myself. i've already scraped off several of my older neighbor's driveways and walks. and didn't charge 'em a dime.i guess i'll re - do my relics exhibit.

mr. tabdog is the king of totlots. there are a few others on here who are just as good at culling the goodies from them too! no offense taken, sir. i'm anxious to try the tejon out. i just might! thanks and hh!

n/t

yeah el, i was really disapointed! i drove the 40 miles to work [both ways] but when i got there, said they had shut the job down! and today we were supposed to start 16 12 hour days! some critical conveyors must be built by the 16th. oh well, i'll get 2 hour's show up pay. there's a lot of accidents out there. lots of 4 wheel drives in the ditches too. some of these people just can't drive in the snow! bread and milk are nonexistent at all the stores. your're right...it's just a dusting.

i think the chicken little syndrome is alive and well in virginia! woohoo! now how crazy do you think my neighbors would think i was if i did take the tejon out today? haha, louis

hurt badly.

Louis we got 13" of lake effect snow today. No one knew it was coming. Went to bed with a just a small bit of snow in the court yard. Got up to white out conditions and 8" already. Total today 13". Went to work and no one told me to go home. As a matter of fact everyone expected me to be there even though I am retired. Now this is only a part time job. I only bring this up to show you what a difference a few hundred miles north is.
Good luck using you Tejon. ...Z

Yea, we got around 8" of that white stuff. Makes it hard to detect with an 8" handicap!! Guess I'll just drool over the coins in the Red Book again!! Stay safe everyone, winter is almost over!

Yea snow sure ruin detecting doesn't it ?.

Heard a lot about those F75's. But still unable to have someone in my area show me their iron unmasking capabilities:rofl: Maybe they work so good that no one wants me to hunt my cellar holes with one???? Located in Western Mass, any takers???

No offence, but I am a kid, mentally.

I think of them as men toys.

I sure love mine.

I didn't know I influenced you ta try Tesoro.

I am ready for tha Tejon. My pocket book is not.

But, if I set my mind to it, it will be so.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

I don't know if unmasking is the right term for the F75..It will hit the target when it is next to iron before it hits the iron target..You still hit the iron but you also see and hear a flash of the good target so you check it out a little better (SLow down) and you get good reading on the Silver..Does that help..and Bill Ladd if thats is wrong please explain it better.
