After using the new Whites M6 for 8 weeks now it has become my number one detector for hunting around old houses and other trashy sides.
It is just a killer with that great automatic GB, very fast recovery speed and super target response. The visual and audio target ID works perfect and is the best and fastest i have ever seen.
The 7 tones are really helpful in the trash since you don't have to watch the meter anymore and just go by the tone id to cherry pick.
The depth with the 4x6 DD coil is hard to believe and target separation couldn't be better. In the tone id mode it is as deep as the MXT is without tone id. If you turn tone id off on the M6 is is hotter than the MXT. The visual id feels more stable than the MXTs id.
I just wish i could have the MXT style grip for it.
I had the time to compare the M6 to the XTerra 50 and i can tell you the XTerra 50 doesn't even come close in recovery speed, target response speed, target/tone id accuracy or in ground depth.
The M6 has the better coil selection too.
