My new Grey Ghost headphones...

I received 3 weeks ago and have used maybe 10ish hours, already broke. It's just the cord and I have a backup that came with but considering these are the GG NDTs at $126.00, NDT means No Down Time?! A wire broke off at the headphone connector because the strain relief in the connector gave. The cord is really a cheap design, aside from the headphone connector and intended to break. It's too short and the folks at GG know it. I wonder what replacement cords cost? Way too much hassle for me to do the warranty thing from Germany so I rebuilt the cord, added 8" to the length, put shrink tube around the connector ends of the cord for a cable restraint. I feel let down because I've heard nothing but good about the GGs but why would they use such a short cord, to make more money I guess. Based on principle I probably won't buy another set of the GGs, they should be able to field a cord that lasts more than 10 hrs and I wasn't hard on it, good thing I wasn't in Colchester! HH, Mike

best fitting earphones I have ever used & I never had a problem with them.
With that being said, I will probably wind up breaking them today hahahahahahahaha!

I got a pair of the Timberwolf Predators, Nice, quiet phones with a clipper switch.

I use the same phones, and I haven't found the cable too short. Did you purchase new ones ???

This statement is BS, just not so. Do you really beleive a company that has sold thousands of headphones all over the world since about 1995, did this on purpose ??
The page also comes to you partly as a result of Detector Pro

and they seem to distinguish the tones rather well. Don't have much time on them yet, so who knows. The cord is long enough, I'm concerned it might be too long if it stretches out.
I appreciate the feedback on the GG NTD, thanks for sharing.

quite a bit actually after awhile. My first set of KIller B's are so streched it don't even look like a coil cord anymore <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)"> My new KIller's are tightly coiled, & therefore it seems like a shorter cord, especially on the Excel where the phone jack is on the front of the box.....
