My New Diggin Tool

Check out my new diggin tool! Saw it at Home Depot for $12.95 in the plumbing section. It's a Malco 6" Duct Knife, double edged, stainless steel blade with soft molded handle. Also came with a sheath.

Hey that looks good. but for it's intended use it probably doesn't have a lot of tensile strength. If it breaks, you might look around for a M1-M2 U.S. Carbine Bayonet knife. The real McCoy, no imports. I swear you can shove the blade under a small boulder and jump up and down on the handle without breaking or bending it..

Funny you should mention that because I've been using an M7 bayonet for awhile now. The blade is thick and made of stainless steel. Seems solid but just have to try it out for awhile. Not a lot of hard clay type soils here in Tampa, Florida. Just a "whole lot of sand!" LoL

I was addressing the Malco SS blade thickness. Not the M7 bayonet!

Where would it not be legal to carry?

You should consider taking all of your knives, kitchen knives included down to you local PD and find out which ones you are allowed to own :surrender:

Yes I agree! We all have to get use to "asking for permission!" The is what is happening in the new Socialist States of Amerika! As subjects of the state I don't know if we will even be allowed to go metal detecting anymore without having to pay large sums of money for permits and taxes. God bless America and pray the Republic will survive!
