[size=medium]I've gone from hand diggers like Fisker's and True
Temper, to screw drivers, which I use most of tha
time now......... Because I can pinpoint and judge
depth better now.
But I wanted somethin shaped a little different, and
something a little more heavy duty.
My most recent digger I made from an old Craftsman
1/2" breaker bar. It's stainless steel and strong. I
made it with a 6" bench grinder.
After I shaped tha metal, I got a can of plastic dip
for about $7 at Lowes, and put four coats on my
big screw driver and my brass probe.
I put several coats on my new digger to have a
large enough handle.
I'll start with a group photo for perspective.
My new digger is actually 12.5" long. There is an
illusion in the photo.
Tell me what you think about my design.............
I may have a chance to try it out tomorrow.
Thanks for lookin,
