My new DFX

Has anyone ever had a problem with there DFX .Mine only 2 months old and when you turn it on you can not see the display it is all scrambled .

Usually if you see alien writing or other gibberish on the screen, it needs to go back!! Mine did it. Was a software problem, I believe. The DFX is a super machine when it works, which is most of the time, but it is a sophisticated piece of electronics. And as we all know, sometimes electronics can be finicky. Call whomever you bought it from and see how to send it back.

In the Manual it says sometimes the circuitry needs to be reset. With the power ON, open the battery compartment and remove the battery. Wait about 20 seconds and then put the battery back in and start it up like normal. If this doesnt help, you need to send it in for service.

Make sure toggle switch isn't locked forward. Been there, went to Virginia Beach and did that on startup. I was very upset when it happened, but happy when I figured it out. I thought the machine was on the blink. Good luck.

Like a television clicker, the whosiwitz can become scrambled for no good reason. WHILE IT IS ON, remove the battery pack for a few seconds then press any key to remove any residual power, reinsert pack and start over.
If you get the same problem, you might have to go out to the garage and find the box it came in. I have seen a few people post on this subject before. They tried the fix and it came back ok. It seems like it can happen occasionally to a machine or two without ever happening again. Good luck Gil
