My new CZ6a

Rob (IL)

New member
I took it out for the first time today and it is a fun detector. I got a 50 quarter, a 42 Merc and four nickels. Most targets were 8" to 9". So the detector is working Dan.

I had a hardtime taking the cover off the coil. It had crap in it. I took a little cut off wheel from my Dremel and mounted it in my drill press. I cut the inner edges and center circle down. I left the outside edge the original height. Works lke a charm. Stays on, looks original, and comes off with my fingers.

Rob, the last 100 silver year I had was with a 6a. I also bought it from Dan and if my memory serves me, I think I sold it back to Dan. Back me up here Dan(laughing). The 6a with it's sensitivity dial is more adjustable than a digital 7-7a-70. One spectacular detector and to think it was an early 90's design.

Who knows, I guess only Dan.

Rob as I could probably write a better manual never saw a need for one... CZ5 is your only alternative...Heck you can find original manual for the CZ6, CZ7 on and on but even on the bay one never comes up..might want to post on the acc's classifieds and get lucky...gave away a few of the pig tails from the original CZ6 but they never seemed to go bad. If I can come up with one will send it your way...as far as RLOH top shelf guy and we did some horse trading over the years...good luck with your new weapon....

I didn't need one just wanted one for no good reason.
