My neighbor rescued this beautiful Red Tailed Hawk.

This bird was a road hit when my neighbor picked it up yesterday. She was taking it today to a Vet who takes in wounded wild animals. It seemed so calm, like it knew that she was trying to help it.

The right wing was broken, and she had it wraped in a towell.

guess having all these parrots around here makes me appreciate 'critters' more. God bless your neighbor for doing as God wanted - to have dominion (and care for the animals, birds, etc.)

I heard a story a while ago about a couple that were RV ing in Alaska. They let out their small dog,and a Golden Eagle swooped down and grabbed that dog,and took off with it.:yikes:Wild anamals;indeed.
