I'm finally getting an MXT. I can't wait to try one. Hillbilly Bob and everyone raving about them in the post's I have read has gotten me anxious to try it. The DFX was a little too complicated for me, and it's probably mostly my fault for having no patience. I love the simplicity the MXT offers. I just sold a 4x6 that I had for the DFX, but I'm keeping my 6x10, and it's coming with a Super 12". Anyone has any input, I'm all ears.
Thanks

I am positive you will enjoy your MXT. Lots of good info on this forum and a bunch of good guys and gals willing to help you out if you hit any snags. Enjoy yourself and HH. Dennis in Idaho

You will enjoy the MXT, with the 12" and the 6 X 10 coils you will have a good start. To bad you sold the 4 X 6 you will probably want a smaller coil for the heavy trash areas. good luck with it and keep us posted............:whites:........

I agree with the others. You will love your MXT. My hubby had the DFX and I wouldn't and didn't want to use it. Now he has the Vision and still, it's not for me. The MXT rulls in my book. I wish you the best of luck and we're all here to help if you need it. HH to all, Nancy

Thanks everyone. Maybe I should have kept the 4 x 6, but it just wasn't for me. I didn't feel like I could cover any ground with it, and always thought I was not overlapping my swings quite good enough. I'm looking at the 5.3, and considering adding that to my arsenal.
I agree with Nancy, sometimes simplicity is best. I tried a DFX, and I can barely send a text message without messing it up, so I still don't know what I was thinking. How can you go wrong with knobs? Gotta love those knobs.

Check out the 4.5x7 DD Excelerator and the 6" DD Excelerators coils before buying. Both are excellent coils that deserve consideration. My wife uses the 4.5x7 and I the 6" and they work great in high trash areas. JMHO HH Dennis in Idaho

You will need a small one as the guys have said. I run the 5.3 on my IDX and the 6" Excelerator on my MXT. They are both great it just depends on if you want a DD or concentric coil. The 4x6 just wasn't my cup of tea. Rob

I'm hearing the 6" DD mentioned quite a lot. I'm going to keep a lookout for one I believe. Thanks everyone.

The 6" DD Excelerator is an awesome coil. It gets good depth, good target seperation in heavy trash, accurate VDI numbers, and pinpoints right on the MONEY.:detecting: You will not go wrong with that coil. JMHO HH Dennis in Idaho
