My modest finds from yesterday.......

Yesterdays finds: 7 wheat's, one 1942 war nickel, one duck charm, one religious medal, and a round lead ball (that was deep and read 07-25). I like digging those deep 07-25 readings. They sometimes surprise you. I was hoping for some silver dimes but kept getting wheat's. Maybe next time. HH Randy

Thought the religious medal looked like it might be silver and it has some heft to it so I cleaned it up a little. Still needs some more cleaning. Sure looks like silver. Digital reading was 04-28

Hey Randy. I have found four or five of those shotgun primers in my yard. Today, I went over into the wooded area next to my house and found a nice clock wheel. I am seriously thinking of spending $2K + just to clear the wooded area around my house so I can search (I have 10 acres mostly wooded). I think my land may have been used to dump trash as I find a lot of old bottles, etc. Back in the day, you took your trash to the woods because there weren't any garbage trucks. Talk to you later.

Hi Keith,

Glad to see you're out and swinging the coil. If I owned 10 acres I'd spend 2 grand in a heart beat to clear ten acres that probably has lots of goodies. If you don't spend it now your children will be spending later. :twodetecting:

Those are some neat finds Randy my Man! I like finding those charms but, any good sound will certainly do, even lead! I found a big chunk of the stuff this morning. My wife tells me it may have fallen out of my ear; she's definitely got a sense of humor for an ugly gal. :)
