Do you have any coin collections???
I also collect old us Bills. I will scan them and post them for all to see.

Beautiful collections, both this and the penny collection. Here in Mexico, the government had change the coins many times (devaluations, etc.). There are many coins that are out of circulation, and probably they do not have real value, except for a collection, I have only one week hunting, but all coins I have found are really dirty and damaged.

big bucks...

The mints where they were made. D = Denver CO., S = San Francisco CA., No letter means it was made in Philadelphia PA.

When I was a small child, my grandmother used to show me all the coins in her collection. Everytime I went to her house that is what I wanted to do. She died 3 years ago and my grandfather gave me that coin collection. He pointed out some specific coins and bills that he mailed to her when he was in Italy during WWII. I don't know if any of the coins are of any monetary value, but there is some definite sentimental value. I will pull them out tonight and see if there are any that are worth photographing and posting.

Nice collection, I need 3 to complete mine. I found all mine in circulation back in the late 50s early 60s.

My son-in- law has the whole set. He took it to a coin store to sell & the guy offered him $350.00 for the whole set, 1916-D & all. I told him I was glad he told him no.

I collect cents, Mercs and nickles. Also all the new coins as they come out. In fact, tis coin collecting that first interested me in detecting.
