my meditation didn't get moving till Monday

OK Zeekeys I didn't get a coil over anything until Monday not Sunday as planned but I tried to make up for lost lost time:detecting: Your 118 coin day inspired me to meet or exceed if possible. Took 6 hrs but I managed 134 coins! 11 quarters, 24 dimes, 6 nickels, 93 Penny's, and assorted trinkets. The heart shaped locket is stamped .925 on the inside. All the finds were in one park, the first 74 were around the edges of the skate board park structures, including the junk cross.Ran the usual settings disc 4, sens40, thres -3, but this time used sl speed, dp tones. Most of the coins around the skate park were on edge in the gravel but the f-70 never wavered on locking on their signals. In sl speed you can go low and slow and the f-70 will patiently sort through all the foil, pull tabs and other junk that the little darlings throw on the ground.

Gadzooks Ed you make your mother proud.
That is some fine detecting. At 134 coins and the little heart (925) is a tiring experience but sure a great meditation. I bet when you got home your wife had your recliner in the right position for napping with the cold drink on the lamp table next to the recliner. Oh, what a life you have.
The F70 is a very good machine for the way we hunt. I don't much care for the SL mode but I haven't tried it in a long time. Could be that I have became a slow swinger (in detecting also), maybe I should try it. According to the kids I am a very slow swinger and not much good for anything but to borrow money from. :bouncy:
Running Tone@DP? Can you really hear the difference in the foil?ring?tab? I look at the meter and run Tone@4H, 20's pretty much junk.
Getting new headphones today as birthday give from me to me.
Great meditation Ed. Thanks for posting.... Happy Trails....Z
