Heres a pic from some of this past seasons finds. I didnt know this type of ring existed till I found two within two weeks at two different parks, both are marked STERLING, both Cub Scout rings. One, the LTD got at 8 inches deep. Good hunting folks, CO

Nice set of rings Osgood. I found one of those Cub rings early last summer on the beach. It was completely covered in a hard sand that, I literally had to use a pair of pliers to get the thick coat of sand off. Mine certainly does not have a shine like yours. It's interesting to know that yours are silver, I was thinking mine was aluminum. I might have to try and clean a bit better and see if I see a sterling mark on mine. I'll try and post a pic.

M-scope, thats it for sure. You know on the topic of cub scout stuff, once on some church grounds where I had permission to hunt and at which they had a long history of scouting at the church, I found 11 of those brass kerchief slides. Every time Id get this huge hit and thought a silver dollar for sure. After a while I caught on, betcha its another kerchief slide. Those kids lost a lot of those things. I was amazed. CO

One of the places I hunt is a Scout parade grounds and you are right osgood, they do loose a lot of those slides. HH jim tn

Very nice osgood, thanks for the pictures. My grandson is in Cub Scouts and I take him to all the meetings and events and he looses his kerchief slide all the time. We have always found it but I can see where there would be a lot of those to find. HH - Randy
