My little detecting adventure today

Was trying to capture one of those scarce canada small nickels, they elluded me, only dug up a very nice 1912 Canada LC.
This creek which once was a local swimming spot is really an important part of our pioneer days. It was used to float logs down to the ocean front by way of wooden flumes and water propelled.
The logs usually made into shingles were loaded onto sailships and went to all parts of the globe. oj hh

You are finding some neat coins at that site. I loved the pictures and story about the site! Kelley (Texas)

when i was a kid lots of people picnicked there. I have had good luck working the edges of trails also.
Over here some work the ski hills just after the snow is gone, can be very good for jewelery.
